Founded by Covington native Mack McKibben—a piano tuner, mover, and performer with nearly 50 years of experience—McKibben Music opened its doors in 2007 with a commitment to genuine customer service and old-fashioned reliability. We’re a small shop with a big heart and an even bigger passion for helping people learn and love music.

Our experienced instructors offer personalized lessons tailored to every skill level, whether you’re just starting out or looking to grow. With a vibrant student program serving over 250 students weekly, we create real opportunities for students to perform, connect, and become part of the local music community.

Beyond lessons, we provide quality gear to support your musical journey, all backed by people who truly care. Mack still personally tunes and moves pianos and shares his talent as a performer, keeping our roots close to the music we love.
